FAQs
The answers to your questions
What equipment will I need?
For most courses and workshops any camera is fine.

If the course requires a specific type of camera it will be stated in the course description.

Some of the workshops would suit any camera, including the one on your phone (for example the composition workshop).

To get the most out of the Level 1 and Level 2 course a camera with manual control would be preferable to get the most from the course.
What previous experience or knowledge do I need?
For the Level 1 course, no experience or knowledge is required.

Most of the higher courses and workshops will require some previous use of your camera in a least the auto settings.

If you are unsure then get in-touch, but the course details explain the level of knowledge or experience required.
Is food and drink included?
For courses or workshops under three hours food or drink are not included, but please feel free to bring a drink and snack if you require.

For courses longer than three hours there will be time allocated for food and drink, however to keep course costs low this is not provided.

If we are on a workshop a local venue will be used to support local businesses.

Is this just for landscape photographers?
Not at all!

The techniques are applicable to all genres of photography.

The aim of the courses and workshops are to give you the foundation to grow as a photographer, regardless of your subject.

If you have a preferred genre then let me know and I shall try and provide examples that would be applicable.
Will we be outside?
The courses are held indoors, however depending on the pace of the group and the weather conditions we may venture outside, but only in the vicinity of the venue.

Workshops may be held inside and outside if the weather is suitable and so comfortable footwear and a jacket is recommended.

None of the locations will require specific outdoor equipment or clothing unless specifically stated.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are dealt with through Eventbrite and there may be a fee for cancelling your place on the course.

If the course is cancelled by In Photos then a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to an alternative date will be offered.
